Knock Knock, New York
-
In this era of individualism, we’ve drifted away from neighborly activities that require social engagement and understanding. We are home alone, baking alone and feeling more lonely than ever and finding it hard to connect and make small talk.
-
Luckily, Borrowing is a habit that builds community, fosters connection, counteracts loneliness and incidentally saves planetary resources. So let’s just borrow a cup of sugar and maybe more.
-
’Knock knock, New York’ is my attempt as a New Yorker, to try & connect with my neighbors by using a tactic we no longer use today - Borrowing!
Why? Because “small talk” and the little, seemingly trivial interactions we have with people are in fact a core factor in our happiness. Therefore Borrowing = Connections = Happiness -

I handled this project 100% on my own. I prepped, shot, sometimes cooked for the shoot, edited, made promos, created engaging posts and stories, thought of another ask, and then it was already the next day! Haha! But it was totally worth it.
