The #36daysoftype challenge is a creative project that encourages participants to express their interpretations of the Latin alphabet and numbers through typeface design. For this type of challenge, I wanted to push myself to create beautiful illustrative type inspired by my culture.

For the challenge, I decided to focus on traditional Indian craft, particularly inspired by Gujarat's design and craftsmanship. Growing up with a preference for simple Western designs, my journey led me to develop a deep appreciation and love for the vibrant colors, intricate details, and bold motifs found in Gujarati design. Throughout the challenge, I explored a variety of motifs, shapes, colors, and patterns, ensuring that each letter felt unique and celebrated the rich artistic heritage of Gujarat, India.
